Software- How to handle all that data

Wow! Data Overload!

So, you have some sources and the family is growing. Didn't know you had so many relatives, did you? How are you going to keep all this new info straight so you can relate it to others? Well, there are plenty of software packages out there to do just that. Prices range from FREE (my favorite price) to hundreds of dollars. Oh yes, there may be some expenses in this endeavor beyond your sweat and hard work! Normally you get what you pay for, but there are also very good freeware and shareware programs available these days. Here are some that I've come across in my travels.

One other piece of software I would recommend is a good mapping program such as Microsoft's Streets and Trips. It is very handy as you look up addresses and you can also plot the migration of your elders as they moved across the United States.

These links will take you to the Download or Order sites. Some are Shareware, some are Commercial. All are worth a look.
